Salvador Catalá were already established, in te Velluters district,
at the very center of the Valencian silk industry of the period. Its
grand tradition continues today creating collections for the mos
important textile producers in the world
for haute conture fashions and exclusive prêt a porter.

Six generations of silk makers, all closely linked to Valencian culture
and traditions through the world of silk, mean that the industry now
possesses one of the most important private collections of drawings,
jacquard cards and vintage specimens in Europe, which makes it an
essential reference point in the history of the textile industry in
Spain.
